Embattled senator Dino Melaye has finally been moved to Lokoja, the state capital of Kogi State, by the Nigeria Police and will be arraigned in court today for alleged illegal possession of fire arms.
According to reports, Dino was transported to the state in an ambulance by the police. Recall thet he was re-arrested at the premises of the magistrate court in Abuja shortly after he was granted bail in the sum of N90 million for an attempt to commit suicide and escape from lawful custody.
Two suspected assassins arrested in February allegedly confessed to have been sponsored by Melaye. The assassins claimed that Melaye gave them funds for their operation and also provided them with arms.
