Popular Kannywood actress, Hauwa Maina, is dead. She died yesterday, 2nd of May, at the Aminu Kano teaching hospital in Kano after a brief illness.
The actress is survived by her daughter, Maryam Bukar Hassan, a well known poet and an information technology graduate from Radford University, UK.
May her jentle soul rest in peace, Amen.
