Mother of Leah Sharibu, the only Dapchi school girl that is still in Boko Haram captivity because she refused to denounce her Christian faith, has appealed to the Federal government to do everything in its power to ensure the freedom of her daughter.
Leah was among the 110 girls from the Government Girls Science and Technical College (GGSTC), Dapchi in Yobe state that were abducted by Boko Haram.
Reno Omokri who recently wrote a book on Leah, shared the video on his twitter handle.
Watch video below:
A video appeal from Leah Sharibu’s mother, Rubecca (not Rebecca). Recorded in Dapchi during research for my book, Leah Sheribu: The Girl Boko Haram Left Behind. She spent 21 years teaching others people’s kids! Help her rescue her own! Watch and share. Help #BringBackOurLeah! pic.twitter.com/xNbBZxBmrd— Reno Omokri (@renoomokri) July 19, 2018
