President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to head the consultation, reconciliation and confidence building efforts toward improving cohesion within the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The announcement is in a two-paragraph statement issued by Malam Garba Shehu, the President’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity in Abuja on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the assignment will involve resolving disagreements among party members, party leadership and political office holders in some states of the federation.
It was gathered that the Kano State APC crisis involving supporters of former Gov. Rabiu Kwakwanso and the serving Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, is one of the task of the Tinubu reconciliation committee.
